Rates and terms
One fee to come out and diagnose. A written estimate before anything else happens.
Diagnostic fee
$80 flat. It covers travel, the visit and the diagnosis, whatever the fault turns out to be. Credited in full toward the repair when you approve the work.
There is no separate call-out charge, no charge per appliance beyond the one we came for, and no after-hours premium, because we do not run after-hours service.
What does a Wolf repair cost in Nocatee?
$80 flat to come out and find the fault, credited in full against the repair when you approve it. Beyond that, the work below is what these jobs run to once parts and labour are counted — $80 at the low end, $1,070 at the top of the widest band on this page.
| No. | Work | Completed, parts and labour |
|---|---|---|
| 6.2.01 | Flat diagnostic fee | $80 |
| 6.2.02 | Igniter or spark module replacement | $190–$550 |
| 6.2.03 | Burner valve or orifice service | $230–$660 |
| 6.2.04 | Oven thermostat or temperature sensor | $180–$520 |
| 6.2.05 | Convection fan or motor | $260–$690 |
| 6.2.06 | Control board or touch panel | $460–$1,070 |
| 6.2.07 | Door hinge, glass or seal | $200–$670 |
A range, because the firm figure is written down after the diagnosis and not before it. The band a job lands in depends on which part failed, whether the appliance has to come out of the cabinetry to reach it, and what the part costs the week it is ordered. A written estimate is provided before any repair begins. No work starts without your approval.
When is it worth replacing instead?
A comparable Wolf range, rangetop or wall oven, appliance only — before delivery, installation, ventilation or cabinetry. National appliance pricing, not Florida labour.
| Appliance | Appliance only, new |
|---|---|
| Wall oven or built-in oven, the usual repair-or-replace comparison | $5,200–$10,500 |
| Dual-fuel or gas range, 36 inch and up | $8,500–$16,500 |
Set the top of the repair bands above against those figures and the arithmetic usually answers itself. We do not sell appliances, so a replacement earns us nothing and we will say plainly when the machine is not worth the part.
Estimates
A written estimate is provided before any repair begins. No work starts without your approval.
If the sensible answer is that the machine is not worth repairing, we say so and you pay the diagnostic only. We do not sell appliances, so we have nothing to gain either way.
Chapter 14 sets these bands against what a comparable appliance costs new and works the arithmetic through, including the fifty per cent rule people ask about by name.

Questions about what it costs
- Is the diagnostic fee credited if I go ahead with the repair?
- Yes, in full. $80 covers travel, the visit and the diagnosis whatever the fault turns out to be, and it comes straight off the repair the moment you approve the work. A written estimate is provided before any repair begins. No work starts without your approval.
- Why are the prices on this page ranges rather than firm figures?
- Because the firm figure is written down after the diagnosis and not before it. control board or touch panel runs $460–$1,070 depending on which part failed, whether the appliance has to come out of the cabinetry to reach it, and what the part costs the week it is ordered.
- Do you charge by the hour?
- No, and nothing on this page is an hourly rate. $80 flat covers the visit and the diagnosis; the repair is then priced against the band it falls in, from $180–$520 at the light end. A job that takes longer than expected does not cost you more for taking it.
- What makes one quote higher than another for the same fault?
- Three things: which part the diagnosis actually names, whether the appliance has to come out of its cabinetry to be reached, and what that part costs the week it is ordered. Each band is written wide enough to hold all three, which is why it is a range and not a figure.
- When does it stop being worth repairing?
- When the repair approaches what the appliance is worth. A comparable replacement is $5,200 to $16,500 for the appliance alone, so a repair in the bands above is usually the cheaper road. We sell no appliances, so we gain nothing either way.
