About the company
Twenty Mile Range Co. — one manufacturer, one category of appliance, one county.
What we are
An independent appliance repair company that works on Wolf cooking equipment in Nocatee and the surrounding St. Johns County area. Trading since 2019.
Narrow scope is deliberate. Working on one manufacturer's cooking equipment means the diagnostic time is short, the parts on the van are the right ones, and the second visit usually is not necessary.
What we are not
Twenty Mile Range Co. is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Wolf or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.
- 7.2.01 Not a manufacturer service centre, and not part of any factory network.
- 7.2.02 Not an appliance dealer. We do not sell machines.
- 7.2.03 Not a general appliance shop. One manufacturer only.
- 7.2.04 Not an emergency or overnight service. See the hours before calling.
Credentials
- 7.3.01 EPA Section 608 certified technicians.
- 7.3.02 Liability insured.
Those are the only credentials claimed on this site. When any repair company claims a credential issued by a manufacturer, that claim can be checked with the manufacturer directly, and it is worth checking.
Why one county
One county is a deliberate limit rather than a small ambition. Nocatee housing dates from 2007 onward, the builder-installed cooking packages went in over a short span, and the same handful of construction decisions — the size of a cabinet opening, the route a hood duct takes, whether a circuit was run for the appliance that later replaced the original — produce the same faults street after street. Working one territory means we have usually seen the fault before we open the appliance, and we know which parts are worth stocking rather than ordering.
Local conditions are specific enough to matter as well. Tap water in ZIP 32081 is published at 372 ppm (JEA's published hardness table, by ZIP code), so a plumbed or reservoir-fed appliance here should have its descale cycle run when the machine asks rather than when it is convenient. That is one line of a maintenance schedule, not a theory of everything.
The village entries record what a service call actually looks like address by address, and the reference chapter records the method behind it.
